Interesting results so far…with 5 of you so far voting for a new Chef’s knife is it because the one you have does not work well for you in that the knife is to big, to small, Dull, to cheap? Or is it a matter of having a free $150 to upgrade?
I like the way you think! I am wanting/thinking about taking the knife skills class over at Sullivan but I need to see what it will involve before I jump off into that arena.
I took the beef, because I’ve got good knives, don’t need the salt and pepper mills that badly, and I’m very likely to forget everything I learned during the class. At least with the meat I’ve had one good meal. 🙂

I went with the class because more people than just me would benefit from that money being spent that way
